This product is a 2 Line Intercom System and is used for voice communication between any two persons using any two Landline Telephones or Cordless phones without dialing any extension numbers.

Any two Landline Telephones or Cordless phones can be connected to this product.
Working:
Connect any two Landline Telephones or Cordless phones to this product using single pair telephone cables. If the handset of any one of the telephone is lifted, then you will get Ring Back Tone and the other telephone will start ringing automatically and when the handset of the ringing telephone is lifted, then both the telephones will be in Intercom. If the handset of any one of the telephones is kept down for more than 2 seconds, then the intercom call is disconnected and the other telephone will get Busy Tone.
Installation:
Fix a Landline Telephone in a room and connect it to a RJ11 Telephone Rosette box. Connect 2 wires of a 2 Pair Telephone cable of 0.5 sq. mm thickness to this Rosette Box and connect the other end of this cable (same 2 wires) to the 1st and 2nd holes of the 4 way Green-Orange connector (Push Type connector or Spring Type connector) provided at the front of this product.
Fix another Landline Telephone in another room and connect it to another RJ11 Telephone Rosette box. Connect 2 wires of a 2 Pair Telephone cable of 0.5 sq. mm thickness to this Rosette Box and connect the other end of this cable (same 2 wires) to the 3rd and 4th holes of the 4 way Green-Orange connector (Push Type connector or Spring Type connector) provided at the front of this product.
Switch ON the Intercom System. Lift the handset of any one of the telephones. You will get Ring Back Tone and the other telephone will start ringing automatically. Now lift the handset of the ringing telephone. Now both the telephones will be in Intercom. Now if the handset of any one of the telephones is kept down for more than 2 seconds, then the Intercom call is disconnected and the other telephone will get Busy Tone.
To fix a pair of telephone cable to the Green-Orange Connector, proceed as follows:
Sleeve the ends of a pair of telephone cable with a wire stripper. With a Flat Screw Driver push the Orange portion
of the Green-Orange Connector provided at the front of this product and then insert one of the sleeved wire into the hole in the Green portion of this connector. Now remove the Flat Screw Driver from the Orange portion. Now that wire will be locked. Gently pull the wire to confirm that the wire is locked inside the Green portion. Similarly fix the other wire of the telephone cable to the Green-Orange connector.
This product will have 1 input port , 1 output port, 1 LED and both the input and output connectors are RJ11 connectors.
This products is used to protect one Trunk port of PBX Systems or any telecom related products against high voltages hitting the telephone lines due to lightning, electrical inductions, etc.
The telephone line (CO lines or BSNL lines) should be connected to the input of this device and the output of this device should be connected to the Trunk port of the PBX Systems or to any telecom related products that needs to be protected. When a high voltage strikes the telephone line, the circuit inside this product will operate and causes the glass fuses inside this device to blow off. Therefore the voltage at the input port of this device will not reach the output port of this device. This results in the input voltage to be isolated from the output port of this device and therefore the Trunk port of the PBX System or the telecom product that is connected at the output of this device will be protected. The input voltage to that port of this device will reach the output port of this device only after the blown off glass fuses inside this device are replaced manually.
The main components in these devices are Gas Discharge Tubes (GD Tubes) and Glass Fuses.
The input connectors and output connectors of this device are RJ11 connectors.
This device will have an LED indications. The LED will be ON only if the input telephone line and the 2 glass fuses inside this device are working. If the telephone line connected to the input port is not working, then the LED for that input port will be OFF. If the telephone line connected to the input port of this device is working, but If any one of the 2 glass fuses inside this device are not working, then the LED will be OFF.

This product is used to protect all the 10 CO ports (Trunk ports) or 10 extension ports of any PBX Systems which are connected on the KRONE module against high voltages hitting the telephone lines or analog extension wires due to lightning, electrical inductions, etc. This product can also be used to protect GATEWAYS of IP-PBX Systems against high voltages hitting the analog extension wires due to lightning, electrical inductions, etc
This product should be plugged inside the KRONE module.
It is a single PCB in which 10 protection circuits are provided for the 10 ports in a KRONE module.
It is available in without LED indication model and with LED indication model.
The PCB portion of this product which goes inside the KRONE module are Gold plated to prevent rust.
These products have 10 numbers of SMD LED's to indicate the status of all the 10 CO ports (Trunk ports) or extension ports of the PBX System which are connected on the KRONE module.
The Glass fuses inside these device can be replaced manually.
Test points are provided at the back side of this product to check the EPABX side and the FIELD side voltages and dial tones..
The test points consists of 10 sets of " E " boxes with 2 holes and 10 sets of " F " boxes with 2 holes on the back side of this product below the 10 numbers of SMD LED’s.
To check the EPABX side voltage of a port, keep the 2 probes of a Multimeter on the 2 test holes in the " E " box.
To check the FIELD side voltage of a port, keep the 2 probes of a Multimeter on the 2 test holes in the " F " box.
To check the EPABX side dial tone of a port, keep the 2 probes of a Multimeter on the 2 test holes in the " E " box.
To check the FIELD side dial tone of a port, keep the 2 probes of a Multimeter on the 2 test holes in the " F " box.
The continuity of all the 20 numbers of glass fuses in this device can be checked at the back side of this device without removing this device from the KRONE module. To check the continuity of the 1st fuse of the 1st port of the Krone module, keep the Multimeter in continuity mode and keep one probe of the Multimeter on the test hole in left hand side of the 1st " E " box and keep the other probe on the test hole in the left hand side of the 1st " F " box. If that Fuse is OK, then you will get buzzer sound.
To check the continuity of the 2nd fuse of the 1st port of the Krone module, keep the Multimeter in continuity mode and keep one probe of the Multimeter on the test hole in the right hand side of the 1st " E " box and keep the other probe on the test hole in the right hand side of the 1st " F " box. If that Fuse is OK, then you will get buzzer sound.
